Frequently Asked Questions
Answers for clients and skilled workers.
For Clients
How much does it cost to hire through SiteWorker?
Rates depend on the trade, license level, location, schedule and whether the job is prevailing wage. Every rate is agreed per assignment and approved before anyone starts.
How fast can a crew start?
Fast. We've turned Friday requests into Monday crews. Exact timing depends on the trade, headcount and site requirements, and you'll get a real start date on our first call.
How do you move so fast?
Our network and our team are built for speed. You see the result: verified workers on your site, on your schedule.
How are workers vetted?
Every worker has verified identity and work eligibility, checked licenses and safety certifications, a reviewed work history, a live video interview and a safety tier of A, B or C. Drug and alcohol testing and background checks follow your site's requirements: we run them, or coordinate with your team. When your job calls for training like OSHA 10, we upskill workers to meet it, so your crew shows up ready.
Can I hire a full crew across several trades?
Yes. One request can cover several trades and as many workers as the job needs.
How are hours tracked?
Workers clock in and out on the SiteWorker app, which checks they're at the job site using their phone's location. You review and approve hours each day.
What if a worker isn't the right fit?
Tell us and we start on a replacement right away. Ratings on every assignment help us match the next one better.
Can I hire a SiteWorker worker full time?
Yes. Start with temp-to-hire to see the worker on your site first, and the cost to bring them on goes down the longer they've worked with you. Or go straight to direct hire, backed by our placement guarantee. Your recruiter walks you through the terms.
Will you sign our master service agreement?
Yes. Send it over and we'll review and sign. If you don't have one, our standard agreement is ready to go.
What if there aren't enough workers near my site?
We bring in travel crews from other states. You agree on per diem up front, and we pass it through at cost, never marked up.

What does it cost to join?
Nothing. Joining SiteWorker is free for skilled workers.
How is pay set?
Pay is based on your experience, certifications and the project. As your skills grow, so does what you're worth.
How often do I get paid?
Every week, paid directly by SiteWorker. You see the pay for every job before you accept.
Do I have to pay for OSHA 10?
No. If a SiteWorker job requires OSHA 10, we get you certified at no cost.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes. Know a good tradesperson? Refer them. We reward referrals when they get hired. Ask your recruiter for details.
Can a job turn into a full-time offer?
Sometimes. Strong work and good ratings get noticed, and clients can hire you onto their team.
Do I need to be an apprentice?
No. Journeymen join with their experience and license. Apprentices join to work toward journeyman.
Does my rating affect which jobs I get?
Jobs go first to workers who fit them: the right trade, certifications, location, safety tier and availability. Among the workers who fit, those with strong verified ratings are considered first. Clients can also filter for top-rated workers, so a strong rating, together with your skills and certifications, puts you in front of more clients, including the ones hiring for higher-paying jobs and lead roles. Pay is set for each job and shown before you accept. Ratings come only from verified clients, and approved absences and safety or injury reports never count against you.
