How We Vet

Finding a skilled workforce shouldn’t be a challenge.

Screening, interviewing, and verifying workers take time and resources. At SiteWorker, we handle these steps for you. Our vetting process ensures that every worker and subcontractor on our platform has the skills, certifications, and professionalism to complete construction projects safely and reliably.

  • Proof of qualifications

Workers and subcontractors must provide proof of certifications, licenses, and experience before accessing job postings.

  • Verification of eligibility

We require up-to-date drug screenings, background checks, and proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

  • Independent validation

SiteWorker’s team independently verifies the authenticity of all documents and work experience.

  • Live video interviews

We conduct live video calls with each candidate to confirm their identity, assess professionalism, and establish rapport.

Safety tiers

Every worker carries a verified safety tier.

SiteWorker checks each worker’s safety certifications and work record, then assigns a safety tier. Job postings list a minimum tier, and only workers at that tier or higher can be placed on the site.

Tier A

Tier A — High-risk ready

Trusted for high-risk work. Full cert stack current, zero safety incidents in the last 180 days.

Tier B

Tier B — Standard

Standard eligibility. Core safety certifications current; cleared for most job sites.

Tier C

Tier C — Needs Improvement

Needs Improvement tier. Basic certs on file; some sites may require additional training.

A worker’s safety tier and compliance record feed their Good Standing score. Workers who keep their certifications current and follow site safety protocols earn stronger reputations and access to more job opportunities.

Thorough. Reliable. Efficient.

Evaluating Soft Skills for Project Success

At SiteWorker, we know that technical expertise isn’t enough to ensure project success. Strong communication and teamwork are just as crucial to completing projects on time and within budget. That’s why we assess essential soft skills, including:

  • Conflict resolution
  • Professional communication
  • Problem-solving within teams and independently
  • Adherence to safety protocols and instructions
  • Honesty and reliability

By evaluating these skills, we ensure that workers seamlessly fit into teams and contribute to project success. Workers benefit too, knowing they’re joining a team with shared values and a strong work ethic.

Training Access for the Future

As the trades evolve, so does the demand for new skills. Part of our vetting process identifies the certifications you need to keep growing. If you qualify, we can connect you with training partners who offer them.

Build your Reputation.

Ratings and reviews from past projects encourage high performance and discourage poor-quality work.
